I am very familiar with radar being a commercial pilot. This is the most sophisticated extremely sensitive unit I’ve owned and its simple to set up and operate. Its mounted on my dash because I cant reach the windshield from the drivers seat. The radar detector functions excellent. It goes off in town now and then from other sources but all detectors do that. You can tell if its a bogus hit simply because it will only read out KA band, but a police radar hit will show the frequency he is using.

Appears to be a really capable machine in detecting any type of radar available, plus the GPS capability to warn you where the cameras are located.

Purchased this product after looking over numerous other various detectors. And decided on this one. Had a small trouble with difficult hard wiring it to the under the hood fuse box but figured it out following a small tweaking. After that had no difficulties. Product had me very satisfied with its performance. Very sensitive when its required to be, granted not numerous if any false alarms. And the programing the item allows just adds to another great aspect to this radar detector.

I love how it automatically gets a little quieter after the first couple warnings.
